Became self-employed as a CT home improvement contractor in 1973 at age 19. Has a A+ rating with the CT Better Business Bureau with no consumer complaints in the past 34 years. Also no law suits or liability claims filed by any homeowner in the past 34 years. I've never been arrested nor taken drugs nor smoked. My company never filed bankruptcy, changed company name nor had a revoked or suspended CT home improvement license nor occurred any violation fines from OSHA. I'm extremely honest besides being skilled and knowledgeable in the home improvement industry , unfortunately not knowledgeable in either mechanical repairs on vehicles or electronic repairs on computers. All contracts are extremely detailed with all phases of labor and material clearly specified, a starting and completion date, payment schedule, blueprints, 3 day cancellation notice and list of items not included in contract to avoid assumptions. We provide a list of merchandize (included in contract) homeowner must select based on their taste, each item indicating a generous monetary allowance to assure homeowner is receiving quality.
